“We chose to have the home that we are building inspected at the “pre-drywall stage” for several reasons. First, the home building process has become very technical and specialized. Without the proper knowledge, even obvious problems sometimes are not evident to the average person. It takes advanced training and experience to spot potential problems. Second, although we trust our builder, we know from past experience that things sometimes get overlooked and never get fixed properly. Although our foreman was initially skeptical of the inspection process, he later agreed that all of the items that John discovered we reasonable and justifiable. We feel that the money spent on the inspection was well worth it and we would certainly do it again. John gave us both an education about our home’s construction as well as a report of items that needed to be fixed.”
